(apologies if you've seen this before!)

As many of you know, I have been training with the goal of cycling 62.5 miles (100km) in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fund-raising event this Sunday, June 7th.  The Tour is a ride, not a race; we pedal in support of the Association's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.

We have all been touched by diabetes-some of you are diabetics, and others know and care about those with diabetes.  So, I am asking you to help by supporting my fund-raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives those who suffer from diabetes and pre-diabetes.

I realize that many are worried about money right now, but even if you can only donate a few dollars, it makes a difference!  It's easy to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by selecting the "Click to Support Me" link below. If you'd rather not donate online, please get in touch with me, we can make other arrangements without a problem.

More information on the American Diabetes Association, its programs and diabetes in general can be found at the Association's Web site: www.diabetes.org and for more information on Tour de Cure, please visit www.diabetes.org/tour.

Thanks, and wish me luck!
